From the time I was a little boy, I have always been a free thinker. Despite growing up in one of the most liberal cities in America, I developed and nourished a conservative leaning philosophy of the world around me.
Today, I see it as less political and more just plain COMMON SENSE.
Does something MAKE SENSE?? That should be one of the primary questions we ask. Instead so many people just regurgitate everything they’ve been taught regarding religion, politics, and philosophy without ever questioning things and whether or not they MAKE SENSE.
I am proud to be a First Generation American, the son of Latin American immigrants whose families came here the old fashioned way—LEGALLY and with the desire to pursue the American Dream.
My parents would have local San Francisco talk radio playing in the background and I fell in love with the format when I was about 10 or 11 years old.
The idea of a voice traveling into someone’s home or work or car was intoxicating to me. These radio personalities felt like my friends…like they were talking to ME.
Right around the tender age of 11 or 12, I vowed that this was the career I would pursue!
And I ultimately did. The super cool thing? I got to work and hang out with and befriend the radio host legends I had grown up listening to on the air.
Through determination and never taking NO for an answer, debuted in the 4th largest radio market in America (San Francisco, the city of my birth) and was labeled at the time by a national magazine as the youngest talk radio host in America.
I’ve hosted my radio show for more than 21 years--locally, nationally, and 7 years on the network level. Major markets. Top heritage stations.
My interests are as eclectic as I am, varying from the political to the entertainment world. From photography to the paranormal.
In addition to my radio abilities, I try to stay busy selling my photography and voice over work.
I love sushi, sunsets, my family, friends, and America and all its myriad opportunities for those who are inspired to go after and achieve them.
My children are growing up in the best damned country on earth and I will never let them forget that.
You can be anything you want in life…achieve and acquire anything…so long as you work hard and smart and never, EVER stop believing in yourself and your dreams. Oh…and don’t take CRAP from anybody. Your biggest critics are likely those who WISH they had your abilities and talents and determination!
YOU have the Power. Say it: I HAVE THE POWER. AND NO ONE CAN OR WILL TAKE IT AWAY FROM ME!!
Carpe Diem and CHEERS!!
